Hosts

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME AS A HOST?

Please fill out the host information form below
• The Harlem Hot Shots Workshop runs May 26th and 27th.  Expect you guests to stay with you for those 2 nights unless you hear otherwise.
• Contact your guest(s) to introduce yourself as soon as the Housing Coordinator has notified you.
• All that your guests expect is a place to sleep and access to a bathroom. (They will provide their own toiletries.)
• Determine what linens your guests will need to bring for themselves and be sure to let them know (ie, sleeping bag, sheets, blankets, pillow, etc.)
• You are not expected to provide meals for your guests. They should expect to take care of their own meals. If you decide that you want to provide some food or snacks, notify your guests and ask about their eating habits/allergies to avoid conflict.
• Let them know the best way to keep in touch with you both before and during the workshop. Your guests are strangers to the area and may look to you for help.
• Let them know your schedule for the event and be specific about what a reasonable time in the bathroom will be. Don't make assumptions about behavior!

Do you smoke?
Do you have any dogs?
Do you have any cats?
Can you provide transportation to and from your house to the event?
NOTE:  When you are finished filling out your information, please scroll down past the guest form and click the submit button.
