Volunteer Waiver - Required by Every Volunteer to Participate

I, the undersigned, agree to indemnity and hold the Brighter DeKalb Foundation and the DeKalb Community Service Board (CSB) harmless from all cost, expense, and liability arising out of my Participation in the Walk of HEROes. I do hereby waive all claims for damages or loss to me or my child’s person or property which may be caused by any act, or failure to act by the Brighter DeKalb Foundation, the DeKalb CSB, its officers, agents or employees arising directly or indirectly from my or my child’s participation in this event; and I hereby assume liability for any loss, damage, or other liability from such event. I also hereby give permission to the Brighter DeKalb Foundation and DeKalb CSB staff and volunteers associated with the Walk of HEROes the right to take photographs, videotape, digital recordings of me/my child in connection with this event permission to use and publish such photographs of me/child for any lawful purpose, which can include publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
