Trophies will be given to each quad winner.  In case of a tie, there may be a blitz playoff to determine first place in the upper sections.  Players with the same record may get a small trophy or medal depending on the tournament.

Please consider donating to our club.  We help all families with chess tournament expenses.  These discounts can only occur though generous donations of our parents.  Last year $780 in donations helped six students.

Rules:   Trophies will be given to any player who goes undefeated and untied in a quad.  Those tied for first place will receive a medal.   General rules are based on USCF rulebook and will be judged by two certified USCF tournament directors whose decisions are final.  Touch/take rules are in effect and players are responsible for challenging illegal moves or errors.    Illegal moves will add two minutes on the opponent's clock.    Major rule infractions such as cheating may cause an automatic disqualifation for the entire event at the discretion of the tournament directors.
