WRITING WORKSHOP WITH AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR JANISSE RAY

WHEN: Friday, September 20th, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
WHERE: the barn at Split Oak Farm, Zebulon, GA
COST: $100
WHO: anyone interested in writing about their place, writers, and photographers. No experience necessary.
LIMITED TO 20 PARTICIPANTS.

Writer Janisse Ray will be joining Slow Exposures in September to explore the theme of place. Ray believes that engagement with places—a more powerful alignment with a person’s actual place on earth—can help us find deeper meaning in our lives, strengthen the fabric of life around us, and build a network of support that is sometimes nonhuman.

Janisse will lead a 2-hour workshop on Being in Place. If you don’t know Janisse, her workshops are lively, on-task, content-driven, and immersive. We believe a few hours with her will enrich all of us.
