2024 SlowExposures Call For Entries

How to Enter

All entries are submitted using this online form. Please complete this form, upload your image files, and pay online with PayPal or a credit card. Payment must accompany entry. You may enter up to six images for a non-refundable fee of $50.

Before completing this form, be sure that you:

1. Read and agree to all entry terms and requirements.

2. Format your photo files to meet the size requirements specified below.

3. Re-name your photo files to conform to the naming requirements specified below.

4. Have your credit card or PayPal account information ready.

Eligible Photographs

Entered photographs must be original works, taken by you. Photographs may be color, or black and white, using traditional film and/or digital elements.

Entry Agreement

By submitting your entry you agree to the following:
*I have read the show call for entries and I understand and agree to comply with all the rules including the waiver of liability and the 30% commission on photo sales.
*I also understand that the decisions of the judges are final.
*I warrant that I am the sole author of these photographs.
*I grant SlowExposures/Pike Historic Preservation the right to publish any of these photographs in its publications, electronic newsletters, and on its website, including but not limited to, its promotional materials. I retain all other rights to these photographs.

Liability: Care will be taken in handling and securing images; however, SlowExposures/Pike Historic Preservation assumes no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, the work.

Photo File Size and Format

In the designated spaces below, type in the title of each photo you enter:

Please omit your name in the title in order to observe our blind entry process.
RENAME THE FILE OF EACH IMAGE EXACTLY AS YOU WISH THE TITLE TO APPEAR THROUGHOUT THE EXHIBITION AND FOR OUR ANNUAL PHOTO BOOK. (Example: My Great Photo.jpg)
Titles are limited in length to 55 characters or less.

It is REQUIRED that your photo files meet the following specifications and naming format. Photo files not meeting these requirements may be ineligible for entry.

Save image as a .jpg using the highest quality that keeps file size under 2.0 MB.
Image must be sized to 1280 pixels long on the longest side.
Image resolution is 240 dpi.
Rename the file of each uploaded image to match the title you have selected.

All entries must be received by 12 midnight, Sunday, June 16, 2024.
